Tuition Policies for Summer Camp 2024

When you apply, a 50% tuition deposit is needed to secure enrollment. This partial tuition amount will be applied to your total tuition, the balance of which will be auto-charged on May 1, 2024. Please note: As of May 1, 2024, no deposits or tuition will be credited or refunded; no days and weeks can be exchanged.

  • Enroll early! A 10% Early Bird Discount is given for registration (with required deposit) completed by end of day on February 29, 2024. 

  • The balance of tuition will be auto-charged on May 1, 2024. Completing this registration process is your acknowledgment of such.

  • If you enroll after May 1, 2024, the full amount of tuition is due with your registration.

  • If you withdraw from camp in full before May 1, 2024, tuition will be refunded, less a $300 cancellation fee per child.

  • As of May 1, 2024, tuition cannot be credited or refunded. This includes days/weeks missed due to illness, vacation, or program closure due to LA County Public Health Department or Community Care Licensing requirements or recommendations for program closure.

  • As of May 1, 2024, days and weeks of enrollment cannot be exchanged. Additional days and weeks can be added, depending on space availability, and along with required payment. 

  • If a summer camp group is required to close due to any reason, including a COVID outbreak, no tuition will be credited or refunded, as all summer camp preparations, such as curriculum planning and supplies, staffing commitments, and administrative work will have already been outlaid.

  • By registering for camp, you are authorizing the CEC to auto-charge your credit card or bank account on file at any time for any outstanding balances.

  • Tuition includes all activities. 

  • Limited tuition assistance is available for qualifying families. The CEC also works with Options For Learning for qualifying families. Prior to registration, please contact the CEC office for more information. 

  • Summer tuition payments can only be made through the summer camp Registration Portal. You can also view your balance and check your schedule and statement on the same portal.
