We are offering a second opportunity to spend time with Monique through an interactive Zoom meeting on Tuesday, April 30 at 4:00 pm: Keeping up with our Kids: Raising an Aware, Anti-biased Generation, Starting with Ourselves. 

Often, when kids see difference, adults see difficulty. Our children are typically way ahead of us, as we scramble to catch up with the questions they have and the information they acquire about the diversity of people and the world around them! Monique Marshall, our facilitator for this interactive Zoom workshop, is currently working with our community in collaboration with Anthony Witte to examine, think, talk about, and continue to develop best practice around diversity and equity at CEC.  

This workshop, open to all CEC parenting adults will offer an introduction to developmentally appropriate ways to affirm identity, develop accurate language for differences, help our children understand unfairness and learn to advocate for justice for all.
